SAKRETE Concrete and Mortar Dissolver Ready-to-Use

SAKRETE Concrete and Mortar Dissolver is a safe, environmentally-friendly alternative to aggressive acid concrete removers. Concrete and Mortar Dissolver can be used to remove dry cement, concrete, mortar, or stucco from most surfaces. Multiple applications used in conjunction with mechanical methods may be necessary for removing stubborn or thick built-up areas.

    • Application:


  • Completely saturate the area of hardened concrete, mortar or stucco to be removed with undiluted Concrete Mortar Dissolver.
  • Surface will turn white on contact then darken. (If Concrete Mortar Dissolver evaporates, a white residue will appear. DO NOT RINSE! Re-apply Concrete Mortar Dissolver to reactivate as needed until concrete has softened to a mush).
  • Allow Concrete Mortar Dissolver to penetrate for 10 - 15 minutes. Then re-apply to the same area. Keep surface wet with Concrete Mortar Dissolver. Concrete will begin to soften and release from the surface. (Total time approximately 20 - 30 minutes).
  • Rinse with cold water using a garden hose with a pressure nozzle, or use a high pressure washer.
  • On extra thick build up, repeat cleaning directions until build up has softened.
